Bluetooth signal desplay in WM6?

I remember that in WM2003SE I could get informatyion about the bluetooth
signal strength when connected to other devices. I have tried to find the
same display in WM6, but cannot find it. IHas this feature gone? If not,
where can I find the connect details including a signal bar?

Thanks
Tony

Re: Bluetooth signal desplay in WM6?

It's not possible with the MS BT stack (as opposed to the old Widcomm one
you're referring to) and I don't know of ay way of enabling it.

A "solution" to this could be installing the Widcomm BT stack on your phone.
It's hackable onto some WM5+ phones; there're several XDA-Devs threads
discussing this, along with some of my articles; for example,

Thanks Werner, I don't think I will mess around with it, but I sure miss the
ability to see the signal strength...

Back to my trusty old Dell Axim running WM2003SE I think.

Thanks, Tony

Re: Bluetooth signal desplay in WM6?

Note that the Dell WM5 Widcomm BT hack is one of the best - at least for the
x51v (dunno about the other versions).
