Only going by the subject of this thread I just wanted to comment that I
saw this video clip on CNN which said that, compared technologically to the
all phones in Asia at the moment, the iPhone is prehistoric and that the
only way it will sell there is on looks and a perceived 'cool factor'.

I think you are right and that is what I have said in other threads.
Because the ipod is its cousin so to speak, it will sell bucketloads no
matter whether it is good or poor.
