Concerning the TC1100 and a quote from HP.COM regarding sp28427.exe or "Support Software for Bluetooth by HP" Under "Revision History" it states Version: 3.00 B (29 Aug 2004) Enhancements - Provides a critical release to support Windows XP Service Pack 2. - Adds the following Bluetooth profile support: - Headset Profile (HSP) ========== The above means you will not see the "Headset/Hands Free" profile on your PPC/phone unless you are using the latest bluetooth driver (3.0) on the TC1100. Today I tried it for the first time myself found out it is called "Phone Monitor." For some reason the first time I tried it nothing worked right. Sound still came from the phone instead of the TC1100. The second time the microphone on the TC1100 worked properly but I couldn't hear anything from the phone or the TC1100. The third time I tried it everything worked just like normal speaker phone and the "Phone Monitor" still works properly after a reboot of the TC1100. YMMV |

| Re: Need recommendation for PDA I have found my Sprint HTC Touch Pro to be excellent for reading ebooks. The excellent resolution makes it easy to read, despite the overall small size. Ron S. Yes, the Touch Pro was my favorite phone until I had one go bad now on me so now I favor the Touch Diamond with the latest software but I miss the 16GB memory card. I hope the Pro2 doesn't have all the problems with the keyboard and screen the Pro had because I plan to get one of them ASAP. |
