| xbox 360 I wonder if Microsoft will create interconnectivity between the Xbox 360 and PDAs running windows mobile. They did it for ipods and can do it for streaming between PC and 360 Not sure what reason I would want to connect a PDA to a 360, but it would be good just for a sense of completion really. Maybe the ability to backup gamesaves, arcade games, profiles. I have not tried to plug in my PDA to my 360 yet and I am sure it will work but display only as a USB mass storage device. But it would be nice to have deeper functions. |

Doesn't Microsoft have plans to have movies through the 360? Maybe you'd want to send images from the 360 to the PDA? (Like you can with Zune?) >Maybe the ability to backup gamesaves, arcade games, profiles. My understanding is with the 360 you can buy games, movies, tv shows, etc. on line. (Micosoft Market place?) |

Images would work okay as I am sure it will already be detected as a mass storage device although I have not yet tried it. I will test it later. > My understanding is with the 360 you can buy games, movies, tv shows, > etc. on line. (Micosoft Market place?) The movies and TV show download centre has not yet been launched here in the UK but maybe soon. |

Well I over estimated it. The 360 does not even recognise it as a mass storage device. Oh well :-( |

| Re: xbox 360 Sucks. Seems strange that a lot of these big companies, like Sony and Microsoft, have a hard time getting their smaller parts to work with each other. Seems like getting all of their subsidiaries working together would be better for their overall profits. -- Edgar "Beck" <beck@none> wrote in message news:45a6a801$0$8711$ed2619ec@ptn-nntp-reader02.plus.net... > > "Edgar" <ecamacho4_nospam@nospam_hotmail.com> wrote in message > news:45a68b2f$0$4832$88260bb3@free.teranews.com... >> So test it already...I'm curious too :) Drop some music in there too and >> see if the 360 will play it. > > Well I over estimated it. > The 360 does not even recognise it as a mass storage device. I guess pocket versions are just overlooked for whatever reason. Its a shame as I am sure there are many things that can be put to good use. |

The windows mobile platform is a mess, it would probably mean an update from every manufacture, also wiping the device. -- Marc For contact information, please see my web site: http://www.iMarc.co.uk/ |
