I tried synching my HTC Wizard today and got a "Synchronization Error"
with no error code after "Looking for changes."

After serveral hours of messing with it, I discovered if I attempt to
sync files or favorites I get the error. Contacts, Calendar and Tasks
will sync as long as I create a new partnership and don't include files
or favorites (I have to create a new partnership because I can't complete
synching to turn off files or folders in options.)

Here's what _didn't_ work to fix it:

1) Rebooting PC and PPC.

2) Install AS 4.5 beta

3) Reinstall AS 4.2.

4) Uninstall AS and reinstall.

5) Install AS 4.2 on a laptop that didn't have it previously and create a
partnership with it.

6) The PPC Holy Grail: a complete hard reset of the Wizard, followed by a
fresh partnership before any software was added.

In addition, I've attempted synching via USB, USB w/o "enhanced network
functionality," BT, and IR, and with and without Windows Firewall on.

Both PCs have XP Home, SP2, and AS 4.2 (and/or 4.5 beta.)

My WM2003 Axim X5 syncs fine on both machines.


I'm completely out of ideas... Help!
