screens protectors

Do these work well? Do they reduce the touch sensitivity at all?

I found this one
http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=1912

They claim its anti-glare, anti-scratch, anti-dust, anti-uv and also claim
it improves handwriting.
For only £4 seems good, but are their claims substantiated?

I use one from Covertec, works perfect, does not reduce
sensitivity....atleast not that much that I would notice.

Re: screens protectors

4 pounds? Hope it's a Brando. (There's no info on the manufacturer there.)

If it's a Brano, go for it. Note that if you have a VGA device, get the
UltraClear only.

My device is QVGA.
Cannot see any manufacturer information.

Ermm, why?

I am looking for a screen protector for my LOOX N560 but since I also intend
to use for car navigation, I was looking for one that reduces glare.

Re: screens protectors

It seems it's a Brando - few protector manufacturers list their products as
washable..

Well it arrived this morning. I don't think its your Brando version, it
just appears to be a generic brand made in China.
How the hell do you get these things on without bubbles? Been trying for
nearly an hour now and keep getting bubbles. I do have a little scraper for
getting bubbles out but they are not shifting. Little bits of dust are
collecting on the sticky side so I have little bubbles with a centre spot of
dust. lol

Re: screens protectors

To avoid dusts: apply the screen protector in a steamy place; for example,
in your bathroom, after making a lot of steam. Steam will make little dusts
into bigger blogs of dust.

As far as bubbles are concerned, try applying the protector slowly and "roll
back" when you see there's a bubble somewhere.
