| Re: Play mp4 files created by 6700 on PC Hmm, well I don't know what to tell you. I booted up an XP box this morning, updated to the latest WMP11 (it had WMP10 on initially), installed ffdshow (the 2006-12-3 version from free-codecs.com) with default settings, and WMP11 plays your sample fine. http://tony72.googlepages.com/wmp11_mp4.jpg I can only guess that something has gone screwy with the codecs on your system, preventing ffdshow from working properly. Unfortunately I have no idea how to go about debugging that, but at least you now know that it *should* work, FWIW. Chris McFarling wrote: > "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. | Re: Play mp4 files created by 6700 on PC Well, that figures. Thanks for playing around with it though. I downloaded the same exact ffdshow installer and tried again but no luck. I was able to find a util called MP4Cam2AVI that will convert the mp4 files to avi. That may be a better solution anyway since I'd like to be able to send these files to other PC users and know that they'll be able to open them "Tony A." <tony72NNOOSSPPAAMM******.com> wrote in message news:uNd%23k2SGHHA.2128@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > Hmm, well I don't know what to tell you.
