| ERROR: Could not create an ICertificate object & message 32 error Hi I hope someone can help me. I've searched for this error but not found anything. I've tried SBS group and been directed here. It is from the config text log on a SBS2003 PC trying to run mobcfg.exe to configure an o2 XDA Exec. The server generated certificate is in the folder with the config program the rest of the log reads OK but the certificate is not being installed on the PDA so it will not connect locally or via gprs. o2 say its an MS problem :-( 2 other imate PDA's have been configured and work with the same server & certificate. We've tried addrootcert and get an error 32 message on the PDA. Any ideas anyone please? Thanks & regards, Daniel. |

| Re: ERROR: Could not create an ICertificate object & message 32 error Perhaps the reason you haven't had any responses is that this has been discussed reverently and being in IT yourself you should understand that the polite thing to do is to search the group for similar problems BEFORE posting your own. Server certificates can be a PITA but if you have the formats correct it can be solved. There is a great tool on the internet called GOOGLE or if you feel that in unacceptable there is YAHOO but Google groups advanced search came up with the solution. -- Brad Leyden 6° 43.5816' S 146° 59.3097' E WGS84 You haven't seen a stolen election yet, just wait for PNG in 2007. Correction it won't be stolen, it will be purchased wholesale. | Re: ERROR: Could not create an ICertificate object & message 32 error ... thanks for replying Brad, much appreciated. Sorry I didnt mean to be rude. As I said in my post I had searched for the problem and not found an answer and someone from MS support has offered advise via SBS group and not been able to fix it - he directed me to post here. The ony posts I can find about this in google advanced are mine and the suggestions we had have not fixed? Perhaps if someone wouldn't mind pointing me at a relevant post?
