| Convert/transfer Palm data to mobile 5.0 I'm trying to convert some Palm OS users at a client to Windows 2003, with Mobility features requiring Windows Mobile 5.0. I have found two stumbling blocks - 1st, with Palm OS there is a feature called graphytie(sp?) that allows sketching ala Paint program, on screen of Palm. Is there a similar feature in Mobile 5.0?? Also, is there an easy way to capture data in Palm phone and transfer to Mobile 5.0 based phone?? How would you recommend accomplishing this? Mike |

| Re: Convert/transfer Palm data to mobile 5.0 There are several third party paint and draw programs... google time. Until WM5, pword offered exactly what you describe, and the default Notes app in wm5 still has b/w line drawing capabilities which suffice for most "cocktail napkin" sketches. >> Also, is there an easy way to capture data in Palm phone and transfer to Mobile 5.0 based phone?? If you are talking about transitioning from one device to the new one, the best option is to sync the palm with outlook, they sync with the win mobile device, but there are several other options and apps to do this. Otherwise, WinMobile has a number of options to receive data, for example, bluetooth, wifi, cellular data connection, IR, memory card transfers, sometimes serial, so the key is probably going to be what the palm device can achieve. | Re: Convert/transfer Palm data to mobile 5.0 1. try third-party painer apps. Please read my Pic Viewer / Editor Bible at http://www.winmobiletech.com/PICVIEWERS 2. In addion to what Beverly has recommended, do read http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ind...&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 on my blog (and please do follow the latter - I've elaborated on these questions a LOT on it) -- -- Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen - Microsoft MVP - Windows - Mobile Devices Please see the Pocket PC Mag Expert Blog (including mine) at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ - you will definitely like it.
