I just bought a new LCD/touchscreen for my Ipaq 1945. After assembling it
with the new screen, horizontal, washed-out lines appear on the screen a few
seconds after turning it on. I took it apart and put it back together 3
times, checking for shorts & etc., with the same result.

Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be anything else but the wrong
LCD part number or a defective screen? I thought that I'd ask this before I
went to the trouble of getting an RMA.

It is either the screen or the motherboard not transmitting the
data correctly or with enough juice.
