| ANN: Review of Spb Imageer 1.5 Today Clinton Fitch (Dot) Com! is pleased to announce our review of Spb Software House's Spb Imageer 1.5 is now online. *As Windows Mobile devices have become faster from a processor and memory perspective, the ability to do tasks that had been regulated to the desktop are slowly creeping into these devices. *Powerful word processing and spreadsheet applications are not common place as are GPS and multimedia entertainment. *Add to this list photo editing. *Until just a few years ago, while editing applications existed, photo editing was painfully slow and the tools available were so severely limited that it made little sense to attempt.* That has all changed with products like Spb Software House’s Spb Imageer. *The latest version of the application (version 1.5) is powerful and feature rich. *Best of all, it is very fast and simple to use straight away making it the perfect application for on-the-fly photo editing with Windows Mobile devices. *Spb Imageer also can perform a slide show of images, excellent for showing friends or family photos quickly.* To read the full review, visit http://www.clintonfitch.com/reviews/...-5/default.asp Regards, Clinton Fitch, MVP-Mobile Devices Clinton Fitch (Dot) Com! http://www.clintonfitch.com |

Does look like they have cleaned up the massive memory leaks though. -- J-Mac |

| Re: ANN: Review of Spb Imageer 1.5 Yup, it was time they fixed the memory problem, which has been an issue for about 2 years. BTW, as far as file conversion is concerned, you may want to check out my full roundup & comparison of all PPC pic viewers / editors at http://www.winmobiletech.com/PICVIEWERS -- -- Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen - Microsoft MVP - Windows - Mobile Devices Please see the Pocket PC Mag Expert Blog (including mine) at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ - you will definitely like it. | Re: ANN: Review of Spb Imageer 1.5 Hello, Thanks for reading the review. I appreciate it. Agreed that it doesn't have some features and I state in the review that it isn't the most advanced out there. I'd love to see a file conversion tool myself which would really round out the application well. Still, all-in-all, I'll say it has the features that the majority of people need. Personally I use Imageer and Pocket Artist both depending on the need. Yup, today, it can only be done with other tools - to a certain degree.
