Display Cell Information On TyTN In The UK

I can set my Nokia N80 to show the dialling code of the cell area I am in eg
if I am in Macclesfield it will display 01625 - is there any utility that
will display this on my TyTN Today Screen

Thanx

Phone > Options > More > Enable Broadcast Channels

Add a new channel with the value of 050

Added it, but doesn't seem to display (cingular/pda2k)

Is there a list of these values somewhere?

Thanks,

Re: Display Cell Information On TyTN In The UK

It will only display if the network you are on broadcasts the information!.
In the UK, most networks do NOT now broadcast this information. They used to
as some networks allowed for cheaper "local" calls' ie same area code.
Also different networks may use different channels to 050
The only way to know what is on which channel is to ask you service provider
(but in most cases they will not know or don't want you to know!).
