SmartPhone vs PPC Pocket IE Browsing

I have a PPC that I use to browse websites from time to time.

I am thinking of switching over to a Trio (windows smartphone), but I
am wondering how the browsing experience differs. Obviously you can't
click on any links, but I guess you can tab through to a link and click
on it with the keyboard?

Can anyone give some advice?

The Treo has a touch screen, just like your PPC, so you can continue
to tap on links to select them. That said, on Smartphones, and WM 5.0
devices in general, you can use the arrow keys to select a link and
activate it.

Scott,

I didn't realize that.

So does the Trio have a stylus?

Do you know if there is any practical difference in functionality
between this Windows based Trio, and the Pocket PC phones such as the
sprint PPC 6700 (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/5/devices/) ?

Yep

There's not really any difference in functionality. The Treo has a
square screen, and as a result slightly less screen real-estate. It
still runs the same apps, and should act just like the PPC-6700.

(Minor nit: It's "Treo", not "Trio")
