| Looking for cool application: automate PC applications with range detection Guys, I was wondering if you know of any application/software that will do the following: Once a person holding his pocketPc/cell phone leaves the computer room, the bluetooth application will make the windows go to sleep, and once the person come back with the pocketpc/cell the computer will turn back on and run an application or such. few years ago, I read that this software exists and I am pretty sure it is not hard to develop. It is all about range detection. But anyway, if you know of any such application, let me know. Thank you. |

| Re: Looking for cool application: automate PC applications with rangedetection Think you will need to repost this on developer groups as well as google searching it. However, I suspect that it is not specifically related to pocket pc, but rather is a PC based application that does what you need when the PC looses is associated connection with a specific bluetooth device. otoh, what I have been using for years is to set up a separate password protected screensaver and assigning it a "hotkey" which is easy to tap on the way out... better yet, if you have a programmable keyboard, assign it to one of the keyboard buttons.
