"Save to Contacts" not found in the Call History dialog

Pocket PC owners,

This is just to revisit a solution I discovered, dated back to
September, 2005. Beverly Howard can take credit for this little pearl.

Problem:
In Call History, you highlight a call and select Menu. There is no
"Save to Contacts" option as in the Last Call screen.

Solution:
Tap and hold the phone number you want to keep, and "Save to Contacts"
magically appears in a context menu.

Thanks, Bev.

Re: "Save to Contacts" not found in the Call History dialog

One reason it surprised me is that I don't have the need for moving call
history into contacts as virtually all of my cellular calls to and from
are in there already.

But, when I get a question such as this one, my response is normally
"makes sense, should be possible, but how?" then I go in and try methods
(such as tap/hold) which work elsewhere so it looks like I knew the
answer... which I am then free to forget ;-)

Glad that one was of value.
