| Certificate Authentication with WM5? We run a homegrown app on Motorola MC70 devices running WM5. We would like to make SSL calls from our app to a web server (they are simple HTTP Get commands). We have ISA 2006 configured with Web Publishing and installed a certificate for the website on the ISA Web Listener. It all appears to be correct. We copied the certificate from ISA to a file and then put it onto the mobile device. I can open the .cer file and get a prompt about installing it. I respond positively and do not see any other prompts or messages. The certificate shows up as a root certificate on the mobile device. If browse to a web page, I am told that the certificate is out of date or invalid (it is a new certificate that will expire in one year). I can continue and see the requested page. I do not feel that I have this configured correctly as I am getting these prompts about the certificate. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I would appreciate any comments or assistance anyone can provide. Thank you very much! Mike H. |
