| Call Blocker without one ring delay Is there a call blocker that immediately sends a busy signal? All call blockers I found send the busy signal after one ring delay. Obviously this is a problem , because the caller understands that the receiver is hanging up and not busy. |

I doubt that such a blocker could exist, except as a service offered by the telephone provider itself- the ring your blocked callers hear is from the phone company connecting the call to you (and your blocker.) A real "busy signal" is sent by the phone company instead of a ring when your line's engaged. Your "blocked" calls are still regular "answered" calls from the phone company's point of view, so callers will still hear normal ring(s) until the blocker answers. |

At least in the GSM world, the mobile can refuse a call, they actually aren't answered and then disconnected. However, the caller will receive a RINGING back from the mobile company while the mobile company locates the mobile and sends out the incoming call notification, followed by an unavailable or busy indicator. This same process can and does happen even without a call blocker in some cases, especially when roaming internationally. Sadly there is no way to defer the initial RING indication until the mobile receives and can process the call. |
