Unresolved notes

Every time I synchronize my Cingular (AT&T) 8525 it reports 2 unresolved
items in Notes. When I click "Resolve items" the synchronization completes
successfully.

Does anyone know why this would happen consistently? ActiveSync is version
4.5.0 and the 8525 has been upgraded to WM6. Contacts, Calendar, Email and
Tasks sync to Exchange Server. Notes, Files, etc. sync with the desktop.
The desktop is XP Pro.

Thanks for any advice.

Bob

Historically it has been related to corrupt notes files.

There's a very old tip at http://BevHoward.com/ASync.htm#Resolve which I
have no idea if it is still relevant, but it worked for me on a number
of occasions to identify the corrupt files... barring that, you can move
all of your notes to the memory card, then move a few back and sync a
few at a time until the message comes up again to id the problem files.

Bev,

Thanks for your response. I tried the routine at your web site but it
didn't help.

I finally moved all the notes to a new folder on my PC and then back to the
original folder a few at a time, rebooting the PPC and resynching each time.
I never got the "not resolved" message during that process and it hasn't
happend again since I completed it. Who knows what was going on?!! I can
hardly wait for computers to make our lives easier - as promised. :-)

Thanks again. I always appreciate your posts.

Bob
