Dell Axim x50v finding all local WiFi???

When I first bought my Dell Axim x50v (WM2003SE) I think I must have been
the only local person using a Wifi access point, but these days, everytime I
switch on the wireless feature on the device, it offers up several
alternative access points before connecting to my own. Is there a way of
stopping the system looking for, and offering up other access points?...
Although it doesn't cause me any problems really, it is irritating and I
would like to stop it doing it if at all possible. I only want to connect
to my access point and don't want to see others in the area being offered to
me in pop up boxes (on the today screen). Any ideas if I can stop this?

Thanks Tony
