The USB port on my old Ipaq 4700 is broken. I cannot connect to to PC
- but otherwise 4700 is working. I bought new Ipaq 211 and I want to
transfer all programs from 4700 to 211. I have a backup of 4700 - but
on 211 there is no backup/restore function. I tried to run restore
from 4700 on 211 (backup/restore is installed on a flash memory) - but
it failed.
My first problem - how to transfer the contact list from 4700 to 211?

Connect to PC (ActiveSync) via Bluetooth (for example, USB-dongle). OR -
search the sofware like PIM Backup.

Copy all data to the SD card might work. Making a backup from one device to
another is a major source for trouble, so I will not recemend that.

Set up a free Exchange account at mail2web.com, sync the 4700 with it over
WiFi (to load your contacts on it) then sync the 211.
