| My PDA-N is not connecting to my PC Hi, I'm a med student and you could say that my whole life depends on my PDA. I have an i-mate PDA-N but I cannot synchronize it to my computer. I got it used (without the original software), however I tried it on 3 different PCs: 2 running Windows XP and ActiveSync 4.5 and one running windows Vista with its built-in sync. I could connect via bluetooth to the one running Vista but the USB connection is not working on anything. I need to install a program i got but it needs activesync. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

| Re: My PDA-N is not connecting to my PC >> i-mate PDA-N << They are old, but for ASync, suggest the steps at http://BevHoward.com/ASync.htm#GetConn ASync 4.x introduced network issues into the equation, so, your firewall settings are now germain... you might trying to disconnect your pc from the network, shut down the firewall, then see if connecting works. Don't forget to restart the firewall before you reconnect to the network. Beverly Howard [MS MVP-Mobile Devices] |
