airomap, 802.11 sniffer and GPS logger

I downloaded Airomap for windows mobile 5 from here and it runs OK for
finding 802.11 networks on my Toshiba e800 BT, (pocketpc 2003SE) except that
the GPS doesn't work at all..

I wrote to the author who wrote back saying it doesn't work for for 2003se
as it was designed for moble 5

... a shame, and kind of dissapointing seeing as it *almost* works on
2003SE - it's supposed to autoconfigure the COM port and I suspect that's
where it is failing on my OS

the program's here and I recommend it for anyone using mobile 5:

http://www.divideconcept.net/index.p...uite/index.php

and if anyone knows a workaround to get this functional on 2003 SE I'd love
to hear about it!

So far I've tried Wififofum and Ministumbler as well as the above.

Wififofum:
nowhere near as sensitive at picking up AP's as Airomap and the supposedly
fixed 'gps reconnecting' message isn't - at least not on this thing, so no
GPS even when the settings show it *is* connected vie bluetooth serial port
:/

ministumbler:
it runs, sees my GPS, seeems to work with my wireless card but a no-go on
seeing *any* access points even when sitting *right beside* one, and even
when every other program is going off with alerts about open networks

Airomap: still no GPS action

Verdict for my machine.. not much good for mapping unless I can find
something for PPC 2003SE that runs on this Toshiba e800
