| iPAQ problem with stylus entry? Hi everyone, I have an iPAQ rx3115 (WM5, I believe), and this morning it decided to act really weird. It starts fine, but whenever I click on anything/ anywhere, it thinks that I'm clicking in one spot on the screen. I can click all over the place, but it acts like I'm clicking one spot every time! I've never had this happen before -- is there anything I can do? Thanks so much! Jeff |

| Re: iPAQ problem with stylus entry? Have you tried re-aligning the screen? Failing that, the digitizer may have developed indigestion. | Re: iPAQ problem with stylus entry? I *would* re-align the screen -- but I can't click on anything. Every time my stylus touches the screen, the PDA thinks I'm clicking in that one spot. :( Thanks, Jeff On Dec 14, 3:37 pm, News <N...@Groups.com> wrote: > Have you tried re-aligning the screen? > > Failing that, the digitizer may have developed indigestion. > > F wrote: > > Hi everyone, > > > I have an iPAQ rx3115 (WM5, I believe), and this morning it decided to > > act really weird. I am not familiar with that particular ipaq, I thank my fujitsu's that mine has a start menu button, I suppose that is a positive. |

| Re: iPAQ problem with stylus entry? OK, the hard reset didn't work -- the screen alignment screen would come up, but I couldn't get the alignment calibrated (the little cursor kept moving round 'n round the screen). So, I figured the touchscreen was just dead. So, I took out that battery over the weekend. I put the battery back into the unit this morning, plugged it back in, and charged it. I turned it back on, and it appears to be working! Now, I've lost everything on it, but... oh well, what can you do? Thanks to everyone for helping! | Re: iPAQ problem with stylus entry? After you get your software reinstalled, back the Ipaq up on an SD card. You can also back it up to your main memory, and then copy the backup file to your PC. Every time you add new software or make changes it is easy to protect everything in case you have problems in the future.
