| Replacing battery in my old Maestro. Cleaning my closet I found my old PDA Audiobox Maestro - I stopped to use long time ago, after Maestro I bought Toshiba and lately Ipaq 4700. I found that the battery is almost dead - after 2 days of charging it worked exactly 10 seconds. I really don't need it, so I don't know why in sudden attack of self confidence I took it apart and ordered replace battery (Maestro is using non removable internal battery LAB544060B - $15 on eBay) Here is my old Maestro: http://www.geocities.com/bloomzalek/maestro/repair1.jpg http://www.geocities.com/bloomzalek/maestro/repair2.jpg The battery will arrive in 1 - 2 weeks - I hope I will remember how to put it together. It did not involve any soldering. The only tools were little screwdrivers. Zalek |

| Re: Replacing battery in my old Maestro. I know it has been a while since you posted your comments on replacing the battery in the Maestro but I have one in need of a new battery and need some advice. I had no problem getting the face plate off but I can't figure out how to separate the guts of the thing from the back plate to get to the battery. Can you help me? |
