| Password on new machine Wheni went through the start up on my new x800 it asked for a password ... i entered a 4 digit number. When i power the machine on it asks for a password or only allows emergency calls ... I have tried both the password that I entered and my SIM password but neither work. How do I reset it. DO I need to do a cold boot ? |

| Re: Password on new machine >> DO I need to do a cold boot ? << Probably, esp if there is a chance you entered the initial password wrong... however, it could also be a screen alignment issue, so, be sure what you are entering is what's responding on the keypad. Unless you have something sensitive on the device, suggest not using a password until you are familiar with the device and have established a good backup process.
