| IPAQ 4150 - OS is there an upgrade Hi, Im using an IPAQ 4150 on Windows CE 4.20 is there an update for the OS? Also I downloaded Adobe Reader v2 for Pocket PC and it won't work for some reason. Is there anywhere I can find out what software is supported by my machine? thanks |

| Re: IPAQ 4150 - OS is there an upgrade The 4150 actually runs Windows Mobile 2003 or PPC 2003. I don't think it ran 2003SE (Second Edition) If it offers a Landscape view, then it is SE. PPC2003 is built on CE 4.2, but the other name(s) are more commonly used when discussing compatibility. There was never an official upgrade to that device, but it would not surprise me if bootleg (hacked, cooked) upgrades are available, though they would not be 'legal' or supported. If I recall correctly Adobe Reader V2 should work on your device. Don't think it needed SE or better. If nothing else you could look around for the V1 version. Many liked it better anyway. -- Sven MS MVP Mobile Devices "Darren Noyce" <cool_daz_2000********.com> wrote in message news:A99B1992-82D2-4F6E-9DDD-D847A5BA911F@microsoft.com... > Hi, > > Im using an IPAQ 4150 on Windows CE 4.20 is there an update for the OS? > Also I downloaded Adobe Reader v2 for Pocket PC and it won't work for some > reason. | Re: IPAQ 4150 - OS is there an upgrade I recalled there was no upgrade, but I was too lazy to find mine in the drawer, charge it and see if it was SE or not ;) Didn't think so, but that was years ago :) -- Sven MS MVP Mobile Devices "Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen [MVP - Windows - Mobile Devices]" <!ei.maileja@kiitos!> wrote in message news:%23US6LrtHIHA.6068@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > The 4150 is WM2003 and there's no WM2003SE upgrade for it. > > -- > > > -- > Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen - Microsoft MVP - Windows - Mobile > Devices > Please see the Pocket PC Mag Expert Blog (including mine) at > http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ - you will definitely like it. > > > "Sven" <sejohannsen********.com> wrote in message > news:C9D8377B-1DB0-40D4-8377-7C899B16A45E@microsoft.com... >> The 4150 actually runs Windows Mobile 2003 or PPC 2003.
