Some Appointments in Outlook 2003 not Syncing to Windows Mobile 6 Device

I am new to using Windows Mobile 6. I synchronized my new device
(MOGUL from HTC, running Windows Mobile 6) with Outlook 2003 to get
all of my appointments into a hand-held form. It seems like almost
everything has been transferred.

The problem I am encountering is that there is one recurring
appointment that was not moved over to the Pocket PC. There are
appointments both before and after it in the calendar, but this one
particular recurrence (which I would like to keep as historical data)
is not making its way onto my hand-held device.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why I might be experiencing this
problem? I have only had the device a few days, so I have not had
time to review ALL of the appointments yet.

The Internet suggested that I make sure I am not filtering
appointments by category. The missing appointment is assigned to a
single category. Other appointments in that same category are on the
Pocket PC device, so I do not think that is the problem. Also, I have
it set to show "All Appointments"

Thank you for any help you can provide. This is an interesting
quandary. I am hoping there is a resolution.

IIRC, WM has a problem with recurring events that have no end dste.
Check this event and if it's open-ended, give it an end date (like in
the year "2099") and try synching again.

Re: Some Appointments in Outlook 2003 not Syncing to Windows Mobil

Hi,

I have the same problem (WM6, Outlook 2003, Exchange 2003).

I'm syncing directly to our exchange server. Do not use categories for
calendar items.

As far as I can tell, the problem occures only on appointments that are
recuring and were orgenized by others (all of the have end dates).
