alternative documents program to default word/excel/ppt program in mobile

hi,

i have a windows smartphone as well as a ppc ph. on the smartphone i
am using documents to go which enables editing the documents. the
ppcph (as everyone knows) allows editing without 3rd party software
installation. but the default office software in win mobile lacks a
lot of features (editing/formatting) that the 3rd party software
allows so i was wondering whether there is any 3rd party (equivalent
to documents to go for smartphone) that is available for the ppc ph.
also if there is such available then would also like to uninstall the
default software in the win mobile so then there only would be 1
documents software on the phone..

can any one help and suggest accordingly?

thanks,

Kunal

I use TextMaker from SoftMaker <http://www.softmaker.com/english/of_en.htm>.
Very capable product.

Not possible. The built-in Pocket Word cannot be removed.

Softmaker's Office Suite is considered excellent, but I personally
find the included apps "good enough."

This question comes up often in various forms...

No, you can't, and even if you could, it wouldn't do you any good.

The pre-installed software is in ROM. It takes up no storage space
that you could reuse. If you like, you can remove the icons in the
Start Menu or Programs folder to keep the PPC's menus "cleaner" but
the apps themselves are part of the OS burned in the ROM.
