Hi
Have a dopod 818pro with WM5 and a new laptop with Vista Home Premium. I
have been syncing with a previous laptop running WinXP no problem but now
when I sync with vista, WMDC changes my device id to "WINDOWSMOBILE#" where
# would be a 2 digit number.

This is not really a big problem but a few of my applications that require
registration rely on device id & this would cause my registration to be
invalid.

How do I resolve this?
