Everytime my WM6 Smartphone Pro device (T-Mobile Wing) times out, it
goes back to the today screen instead of the application I was
running. It seems as though: Start, Settings, Today, Disable Today
Screen options has been eliminated in WM6.

I use Intelligolf to keep my golf scores. Everytime I go to enter a
score, I need to re-start the program because my device went to the
today screen; when I first turn it on, it show my program for 1/2 a
second and then goes to the today screen

This seems so simple, what am I missing?

So, when you "restart" the app, is it coming back to the screen
you were on? If not, then it may be crashing, not simply going to
the background. Next time you do this, instead of starting it
again, go to Start|Settings|System|Memory and look at the 3rd tab
- is your program running?

Thanks for the reply. It does this with every application. If I am
in notes and it times out (2 minutes), when I press the power button
to start again, it goes back to the today screen instead of staying in
notes.

Is this normal for WM6, or is my device messed up? I am a former Palm
Treo guy who was forced to Windows by my company. That is not a bad
thing, only different. I am still learning what is normal.
