Hi..

I have an HTC S620. I have also owned other smart phones as well as
other pocket pc phones. I use exchange server and direct push in all
the devices. In all devices except the HTC s620 it works perfectly,
even adhering to the "peak time" and "off peak time" setting that i
set for it. But in the HTC S620 smart phone, there always is a
disconnection on the GPRS line and then failure to initiate the GPRS
connection, thus active synch faces a failure to synch. to resume this
function and enable the GPRS connection, i have to soft reset the
phone. thus i have to keep checking the phone's active synch for
errors to know if i need to reset the phone or not. please help....
this is really irritating and quite disruptive as for as efficiency is
concerned....

please help...

another minor problem is the active synch, when functioning, doesnt
immediately synch when i delete the email received. it waits for when
another synch request is initiated by a change in contact or
appointment or task or arrival of a new mail....ofcourse this is more
a matter of convenience and thus minor, but the problem listed in the
above paragraph is quite serious as i always depend on the active
synch to deliver my emails to my device whenever someone is emailing
me. inevitably i keep waiting for it till i check the device to see
whether there was an alert error or what and i find out that the
active synch cannot synch because of the gprs failure...

any ideas???
