shutdown problem

T-Mobile MDA Vario, windows mobile 5

I did a hard reset the other day to try solve a wifi problem. It solved the
problem but bought a new one.

Now if my PDA component is off but the phone is on, the PDA will not switch
back on sometimes and requires a soft reset. It has happened 3 times in 24
hours.

Any ideas please?

I have that problem occasionally on my Wizard as well. It seems more
likely to happen if I leave Wi-Fi on when switching the PDA off. If I
remember to turn off the Wi-Fi radio first, it doesn't seem to happen.

I don't think I have had wifi enabled on these occasions. One time it
happened at work where I don't get wifi, only gprs.
Just thinking about it, I installed a qvga theme on the same day it started.
Yesterday I changed the theme and its ot happened since. Maybe it was that?

Righty it has happened again a couple of times so cannot be to do with the
theme.
Whilst I maintain that wifi was not in use at the time of it shutting down,
on each occasion I recall it had been in use an hour or two before. So
similar to your problem but in my case wifi had been shut off a short time
before.
Not really sure how to progress on this, I dont want to have to do yet
another reset as its a pain reinstalling stuff.
