Re: Windows Mobile Live Synchronization

In Windows Live, select Account Options from the Menu, click Clear
Password and follow the instructions to re-type your password. Sync
again.

Re: Windows Mobile Live Synchronization

It goes Through Address book Sync, e-mail sync, etc...but just near the end
when it gets to synchronizing "Personal Settings", it says "failed to
synchronize: personal settings"

Thank you

I do not want to be rude, but when you answer why you don't bother to
check some things, if you are really windows mobile training
specialist the i do not know how will you train anyone when you can
not answer this simple question.

Answer: The answer is here: https://http.mws.mobile.live.com/2006/10/SecurityPolicy
the security policy which WLM is using expired on 20 may 2007 and
since then strange errors pop up, i got the same error and i checked
every file and registry to find out the problem. this should be
fixable, and i have testing a fix, if it work i will publish it (this
will be temporary until microsoft updates its stuff)

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. This is what this
newsgroup is for. I hope your solution will work. i also had the same
issue with Windows Live while beta testing it and reported that to
Microsoft and guess what? Microsoft sent me an email with the solution
I posted above.

Re: Windows Mobile Live Synchronization

I just tried the solution you posted, but it made no difference... Any idea
what 'personal settings' are exactly? Is it something that doesn't really
matter?
