WIll unlocked T-Mobile MDA work on Cingulars Edge ntwk OK?

My wife and I are looking to switch from T-Mobile to Cingular/ATT. However,
my wife does not want a new phone because she just got it. Would there be a
problem getting the phone to work on their wireless web (of course after
unlocking the phone)? Also, anything to be concerned about when unlocking a
phone?

Nah, the MDA will work fine on AT&T once you configure it for MEdiaNet,
but be warned
that AT&T charges $40/month for data on PDA phones vs. the $6 you were
paying T-Mo.

Yea, but the $6 plan just stopped working the other day. I can only pull
email. I had to upgrade my wifes phone to the full internet plan.

Now I'm being offered a sweet deal to get a 8525 for FREE and get a discount
on my service because I work for Legacy BellSouth, now AT&T. If I could keep
my email working, I'd prob stay, but It's getting a little difficult to get
support.
