Purge the spell dictionary

I have been using my Windows Mobile version 5 a lot and the spell dictionary
has built up a lot of junk words that I would like to get rid of. Is there
a way to do this? I would appreciate any suggestions. Is there a way to
return to the default list in the spell check dictionary?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Re: Purge the spell dictionary

As is explained in my related article (see for example
http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...c.php?p=365548 ), these words
are stored in the file(s) \Windows\dyncompdict.dat (and .tmp in some cases)

That is, just delete this (these) files and you can start anew.

Also, there're some apps that let you edit these dictionaries if you don't
want to get rid of everything in them - I've also published several articles
on these.
