| Re: In which folder/file are my "Contacts" stored ? 1, it's in the WinCE databases 2, use Pocket dbExplorer to directly access / backup / restore them. SKTools 3+ is also able to do the backup / restore. 3, while Pocket dbExplorer can also be used for editing, I would do this on an exported files. Also keep an eye on my articles, I've dedicated several articles to backing up / restoring exporting / importing PIM stuff. -- -- Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen - Microsoft MVP - Windows - Mobile Devices Please see the Pocket PC Mag Expert Blog (including mine) at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ - you will definitely like it. | Re: In which folder/file are my "Contacts" stored ? >> can this file be edited manually? << to expand on Werner's response, imho, it's much easier (and safer) to edit contacts using outlook on your sync pc, and, if that is not an option, outlook can always be used to export for processing with more powerful data tools, then re-imported. Is there a reason why they are not accessible via outlook? Beverly Howard [MS MVP-Mobile Devices] |
