In which folder/file are my "Contacts" stored ?

Hi, im using O2 XDA Atom (windows). Can anybody tell me in which
folder/file are my "Contacts" stored ?
can this file be edited manually?

1, it's in the WinCE databases
2, use Pocket dbExplorer to directly access / backup / restore them. SKTools
3+ is also able to do the backup / restore.
3, while Pocket dbExplorer can also be used for editing, I would do this on
an exported files.

Also keep an eye on my articles, I've dedicated several articles to backing
up / restoring exporting / importing PIM stuff.

to expand on Werner's response, imho, it's much easier (and safer) to
edit contacts using outlook on your sync pc, and, if that is not an
option, outlook can always be used to export for processing with more
powerful data tools, then re-imported.

Is there a reason why they are not accessible via outlook?
