Re: sd card & ipaq 4700

Please elaborate. Did you try to directly copy the file via, say, Explorer
or Total Commander?

Re: sd card & ipaq 4700

hi werner, the program I used to compress the movie was x-oom, which
converted it into a WMA file, then I tried a simple copy onto a sd card in
my "k" drive, it started but then stopped error message saying unable to
copy "parameter incorrect" I tried a couple of other files & i get the same
error message, even when i tried a different sd card.
thanx martin

Re: sd card & ipaq 4700

Are they all 4G cards? Are you sure the hx4700 is able to read these cards -
that is, they aren't SDHC?

Re: sd card & ipaq 4700

it could be that your PC cannot recognize a card of this size.
I had a problem with my laptop - it will not recognize a card greater than
1GB.
I now use a program called Softick card Export to copy to my 4GB card. This
means that you can copy to a card while it is in the IPAQ.
I reviewed this software for Mobility TODAY...

Re: sd card & ipaq 4700

my 4700 with PPC2003SE will read 4GB SD cards - not a SDHC card - the IPAQs
will not work with SDHC cards.
