Every time MSN tells me I have an update it includes updates for Silverlight. these always fail to install (usually claiming not ot be able to ope,n the file - see below) and after chatting to expert friends they advised me that I don't need it anyway. So I unchecked the options for Silverlight updates on the MSN update site and I decided to uninstall Silverlight from my computer. It was there on the list of programs so I checked 'delete'. Up came the message that it could not open the files to delete because they were situated in the 'f' drive of the computer....

the 'f' drive in my Acer Laptop is a drive for those mini discs that replaced the old floppy discs and
I have never used it
Does anyone have any idea what the

happened here and how I can get rid of the aparently enormous and unwanted file-load in my computer. I'm sure the presence of Silverlight (wherever it is) is one of the reasons my Spyware thinks it has to check over 400K files every time!
