SweetVivian is on a distinguished road
Exclamation WIN2000 Log-in Fiasco

Logging into my computer today, there were a few changes compared to several days ago since my last log-in (3-4 days).

- I logged into account USERNAME.
- I noticed that my desktop was off, icons that were supposed to be there were missing and large icons were showing in the main menu (as if i had just installed WIN2000, which i didn't).
- My appearance properties were changed to the default.
- My wallpaper was not there, just the blue default WIN2000 colour background.

So i decided to check up on my control panel > Users and Passwords. Everything seemed fine, and it "showed" that i was logged into USERNAME.

I checked My Documents and realized that all of my files were gone, but being as smart as i was, i right clicked the properties for that folder and it showed up as:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME.NAME-DB9J0S6MMF\My Documents

Meaning that i wasn't in the Document and Settings folder that i originally wanted to be in.
So i checked in my Documents and Settings folder to find all of my files are still in the original folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME

There are other folders in here:
- Administrator
- All Users
- Guest
- USERNAME
- USERNAME.NAME-DB9J0S6MMF

The folder USERNAME.NAME-DB9J0S6MMF was created today, meaning when i tried logging on, it logged me onto this folder.

This username.name-DB9J0S6MMF DOES NOT show up in my Users and Passwords window. I cannot delete this folder also because it prompts me with "...is a windows system folder and is required for windows to run properly. It cannot be deleted."

How do i revert my computer back to the original log in folder? and why does it say that i'm logging into USERNAME, when i'm actually logging into USERNAME.NAME-DB9J0S6MMF????

Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated! (:
(panicking),
Vivian
