I have a Dell 75YUF battery in my laptop, and for some reason the
thing refuses to finish charging. It will get up to about 28%
charged, and then refuse to charge anymore. Windows says it's
charging, but the indicator light on the laptop turns off and the
charge level never goes up. Anyone know what might be going on?

The battery sounds as though it's knackered.

While you may be right, it shouldn't be. It's less than a year old,
and it's a non-OEM battery, so it doesn't have Dell's planned
obsolescence "features." Also, it worked well for a while.

Your batter has at least one bad cell. Very common. Go here and buy a new one. They offer abetter warranty than Dell and are not refurbs.

I get all my Dell laptop parts from these folks and have never had issue. Their tech support is pretty good too. Support "before" the sale. Sounds whacky but it's true. This also sounds like I'm selling thier stuff but I have nothing to do with them other than being a happy customer.
