| BIOS/CMOS battery in Laptop Hello, Nowhere in my laptop i can find the BIOS/CMOS battery. I opened all panels and looked under removable parts including the keyboard, but nowhere i could find the small battery. So i start to believe that this laptop does not have a battery to maintain the BIOS settings and have the internal clock going. Is it possible that modern laptops do without a battery (and use for instance a high capacity capacitor to sypply power to the BIOSmemory and clock? Has anybody any ideas? Bu |

It probably has a rechargeable battery buried inside. |

But i do not only want to focus on the brand. I also like to know if its done nowadays not to install a 'normal' battery. Do you know about laptops/computers that uses rechargeable batteries for the BIOS/clock as you suggest? Bu |
