Did the shop say what needed replacing? And if you don’t mind what store
did you bought the laptop from? Also did you find out what the loud
noise was and did it ever go away?

Do you have the paper contract? (not verbal contract as it don’t mean a
thing) when you brought the laptop and does it cover accidental damage.
Now that should cover it unless it does say water damage not covered.
