I have a Sony VAIO T27GPS purchased about 2 years ago.

Recently Pointsec encryption s/w was installed on it. I have noticed
that there are a few problems. The recovery procedure was run
following the installation.

1. The memory stick does not work although it appears in My Computer
with the correct icon. Is there a driver I need to download?

2. I seem to have lost software - I do not have VAIO Zone, Click to
DVD etc. Can these be reinstalled from the Recovery DVD? How do I
create DVDs

3. I lost the 'Rice Paddy' screen saver - trivial!

Please be clear and concise: What 'recovery' did you use? Was it
F-something at boot to invoke the recovery partition? Did you do a
clean install from a separately-purchased XP install disk? Did you
reformat the HD and blow away the recovery partition?
