window 7 and nod 32...administator account

hi....ive upgraded to windows 7...and removed bit defender as not
compatible...i have installed nod32 anti virus as i was told this is
compatable but it will not scan single file without administator
account...so i have activated the administator account...if i switch
user to this account nod 32 will scan single files but all my files
are in my original account i created when i installed windows
7.......so now i have an administator account and my original
account.....how do i make my original account into administator....i
have tried doing this in control panel /user account but nod 32 still
says its not administator accout.....OR CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANOTHER ANTI
VIRUS,,,,,,,THANKS

You don't mention which version of NOD32 you are running. I can say
that I am running NOD32 version 4.0.437.0 under Windows 7 RTM x86_64
with no problems. All scheduled tasks run.

There were problems with earlier versions of NOD32 and W7, so you
might want to make sure you have the latest version.
