Does anyone know how to get the bezel off an Advent 7060? There's no
visible screws on it. Maybe there's a standard way of removing a
laptop bezel but I've never tried it before. It needs a new backlight
as I can still see objects on the screen only it's almost balck.
Once that's done I have to fix up the bezel edges at the hinge, which
seems pretty much a given with this brand of laptop. The exposed
hinges don't seem to move at all, which is probably how the plastic
ended up in bits. The backlight break is probably related too.
All the 7060 plastics on ebay mention cracks, but I could possibly
glue them up and put the screen on some well oiled hinges?
All suggestions welcome to this laptop noob.
