| Re: Disconnected internal battery and get "factory datea this is a thinkpad 390e. quite old. I found the user guide on the net and it specifically said to remove battery to get rid of password. there was also a password for harddrive and motherboard which cant be reset . you have to buy new harddrive or motherboard. There was also a password for harddrive and motherboard which cant be reset" Tell me, if removing the battery does not reset either the motherboard or the hard drive password, exactly what password does it reset? Normally, these discussions are about the motherboard password. pakihaki22******.ca wrote: > this is a thinkpad 390e. quite old.
