Re: Help. Bad cord on laptop power supply

Most laptop power supplies are sealed and very difficult to open without
breaking them. I'd look for a replacement on an auction site or try to
modify the RS connector to be sturdier.

Re: Help. Bad cord on laptop power supply

I was hoping to find just the cord with the proper plug attached, and
splice it to cord hard-wired into the AC adaptor.

The RS plug is really flimsy, and the positive pin is a bit shorter
than the original. It just kills me to buy an adaptor when all I want
is the cord.
