| ACET 3100 problems with keyboard and mouse My grandson has an ACER 3100 laptop with XPhome The other day the external mouse would not work any longer, and next time he started up, also the fixed mouse and the keyboard was dead. As far as I know, nothing liquid has been spilled on / in it. We runned the start up CD and it showed a lot but nothing happened with mouse and keyboard. They are still dead. Can anybody come up with an advise to this problem. Ib's granddad |

If so, that is bad. If you can, that is good! Well sort of, as the hardware is okay, just the OS is screwed up. <grin> -- Bill Windows 2000 SP4 (5.00.2195) Asus EEE PC 701G4 ~ 2GB RAM ~ 16GB-SDHC |
