Hi All,

Fingerprint Reader on my HP HDX16t Notebook stop working after I flashed the
bios to the latest version that I downloaded from HP's Website. It shown
that "Reader not detected". I have contacted HP's Techsupport and they
try to help by trying several thing but still no good. Before I have to
send it in for repair I just thought someone here might
be able to help fix this. Everything else seems working ok except the
Fingerprint Reader. The Techsupport says the
bios update might not goes in correctly. TIA

More likely that you need to reinstall the mobo and reader drivers, should
be on the HP site.
