The eeePC - The best value-for-money laptop?.(laptop)

The ASUS Eee PC is a mini laptop designed by ASUS and Intel, noted for
its combination of light weight, Linux-based operating system, solid-
state drive and low cost. The laptop derives its name EeePC from the
advertising slogan "Easy to learn, Easy to work, Easy to play".

I just bought my eeePC yesterday and finds that it over delivers in
many ways.

1. Most of the applications that an average user needs is already pre-
installed in it, including Openoffice Suite (the equivalent of MS
Office), Firefox (web browser), PDF reader, Skype and Anti Virus
software. All FREE.

2. Connecting to my wireless network was a breeze. Better yet,

I have an eeePC 701 with 4gbHD, 2gbRAM plus a 4gb SD Card.
Installed Win XP Home using nLite to cut out the crap. With all updates
installed I was under !gb used on the HD so have plenty of room for extra
programs and personal data.
This is what a true Laptop should be. Love it.
